Subject: Two sets or three?
The best Dead show I ever attended.
One thing that should be noted is that, due to equipment problems, the band left the stage after "Hell In a Bucket" for a pretty lengthy break. When they came back on, everybody was buzzing about whether this was the second set, or still the first. Merry pranksters that they were, the Dead of course went right into a song they'd never played live before--"Keep On Growin'"--which provided no clue. Then they played "Stagger Lee" for the first time in a few years--also not much of a clue. It wasn't until they went into "Let It Grow" that most people were eleted to find out that it was still the first set...or, perhaps, the second of three.

Subject: I Freaked at The Greek,No Kidding!!!!
Bad Trip, and not just me,Never buy acid from a East coaster on the west coast! Had I known he was I wouldn't have,Same for many straight jacketed Fans that had the First Aid'ers at this shows hands very full! It was aweful, T-shirts were out that next day for sale that said I Freaked At The Greek!!! It was like The Brown Acid story at Wood Stock. I am glad I have this to listen to or I wouldn't remember any thing that night between Peggy-O and Morning Dew which brought me back to earth!!! I'd say it was all great if I could remember it "The Greek Theater was a fire pit of Hell And I was in it! That is what I do remember! The next 2 nights were wonderful at this historic venue! Scarlet Begonias was the Finest,Best ever to this day I have ever, ever came across and for them to break out Crypt.Env.at these 20th Aniversary shows was awesome!!! Comes a time was beautiful The Real Liquid Acid followed for the drive back to Nebraska , Seeing trails comeing off of the on coming head lights and the insects splattering on the wind shield of my friends van I drove breifly for a few hours dosed back to Lincoln was something I will never forget and very much enjoy the memory of!!! After hearing it straight now some 24 years later I'd give it and its companion shows all 5 stars for all 3 nights!!!

It was twenty years ago today,
Sergeant Pepper taught the band to play
They've been going in and out of style
But they guaranteed to raise a smile.
So may I introduce to you
The act you've known for all these years

Subject: Keep on Growing
Along with millions of other people around the globe, I love this show. The guitar solo in Keep on Growing almost always has me looking over the imaginary pair of glasses I don't wear or need as I lose myself in the moment, fantasizing that I actually am Jerry Garcia and my room over my parent's garage is actually the Greek Theater. But alas, it's not, and tragically like so many other times, I am interrupted by my Mother yelling for me to turn the music down before I wake the entire neighborhood. But I digress. Download the show brother, that's all I can say.

Subject: DEW!!!
The Dew alone is worth the whole show. This is among the all-time best ones. Although Jerry's voice is raggedy, it is incredibly spirited and he sings some of the lines in melodic ways I have never heard on ANY other versions. His solo in the middle rips and the build at the end is slow, even, and powerful. The rest of the show is pretty good, too. Excellent China Doll, yes. This recording is very good also.

Subject: Fantastic show
Most ppl have this show and know how sweet it is but Ill throw in my 2cents anyways. Great oade recording which is always a treat and the show just rocks. Jerry's voice of course is pretty dismal at this point but his playing is spirited as is the rest of the bands. Mickeys "Bobby" sample is a riot and of course the Dew 2nd set opener is real nice! This is also my favorite version of China doll ever. I also like Brents little jam with the drummers after the china doll:) Highly recommended
